GLF`s Chief Operating Officer graduates Leadership Palm Beach County
Delray Beach, Florida, June 18, 2012 – Sharon Gill graduates from Leadership Palm Beach County, a program designed to foster awareness of community issues and promote efficient communication and cooperative relationships between existing and emerging community leaders. Through the Adult Leadership Program, the organization is devoted to preparing an active network of informed, concerned community trustees to help shape the future of Palm Beach County.
Sharon Gill is COO to Gill Law Firm, a Florida law firm that practices exclusively in the areas of collection and recovery (commercial and consumer), creditor’s rights and commercial litigation; with a strong commitment to our community, and a thriving passion to serve the people of Palm Beach County.
Mrs. Gill is also founder of the Oasis Compassion Agency, a non-profit addressing the needs of the needy in central Palm Beach County. Since 2003, Oasis has met clients at their point(s) of need through its food pantry, clothing ministry, the opportunity for Biblical and mental counseling, and, through the Career Center, formulating a plan to help clients take the steps that will enable them to stabilize their economic circumstances.
“I want them to think they’re a survivor, a warrior even,” said Gill, who founded the Oasis Compassion agency in a church closet in 2003.
